Colour Themes for Weddings

Most people are very excited and flattered to be asked to be a bridesmaid.    For little girls it is their dream come true and for older women of contemporary age as the bride, it is an affirmation of your friendship. Whilst little girls will look lovely in most colours, you may not have to be quite so careful if your bridesmaids are under seven, but teenage and adult bridesmaids will need to wear colours that suit them, if they are to look their best.  There are some “universal” colours that suit anybody.   “Soft white”, “taupe”, “stone” and “pewter” suit all skin tones but these may not be a good choice if the bride is wearing a shade of white, cream or taupe herself unless you want the Bridesmaids in exactly the same colour as the Bride.   Other colours to choose from that flatter all skin tones and hair colours are “mint”, “turquoise”, “emerald” and  “teal” if you like blues and greens, or “periwinkle”, “purple”, “blush pink” or “true red” if you prefer pinks and purples.  If none of these colours appeal, the alternative is to choose the colour you like, for example “aqua”, and dress your bridesmaids in different shades of that colour to suit their own natural colouring.   All the dresses could be the same style but slightly different shades so they would tone with each other but flatter the individual and still co-ordinate with the theme colour.   This can be very effective and each bridesmaid will be delighted to wear a colour she knows really suits her.  The time of year for your wedding plays an important part in the choice of colour, for example pastel shades don’t seem quite right in the winter and equally dark burgundy or pine green is better suited to a winter wedding. You may also want to consider which flowers are in season, if you are having fresh flowers in your bouquet.   Flowers tend to be blues, pinks and purples in early summer and more vivid shades of orange, red and yellow by late summer.

During World War Two women were wearing bright red lipstick, possibly to cheer themselves up during that period of fear and grief.    Many cosmetic manufacturers have noticed a recent increase in sales, in spite of the current recession, suggesting that perhaps women like to treat themselves with a small luxury such as a new lipstick rather than embark on a full blown shopping trip. Now that Christmas is over and the New Year has begun and the newspapers are full of doom and gloom about the economy, we would all be forgiven for feeling a bit glum.   Buying a lipstick, is a fairly inexpensive way of treating yourself, and just think how much better you will look and feel, wearing a splash of colour on your lips. Finding the right shade of lipstick is crucial and once found you will notice how it will brighten and lighten your face. It is important to mirror your natural look with the type of colour you choose for your lipstick.   If you have deep or dark colouring, you can wear deep dark reds.   If you have any warmth or auburn streaks in your dark hair, avoid shocking pinks and choose reds that have a hint of orange in them. If you have light or pale colouring, a deep or dark lipstick will overpower your face.   Again if there is any hint of golden or yellow in your hair, opt for a coral or warm brown lipstick, but nothing too dark or heavy.   If you have ash blonde, grey or white hair, pink lipsticks will be more complimentary.   A nice clear fuchsia or rose pink will be very flattering. If you have light or dark blonde hair, pale skin and soft brown, green, blue or grey eyes, you will look best in soft shades of pink, brown or coral lipstick.   Before you apply your newly purchased lipstick, make sure your lips are in good condition and not chapped and sore.   Apply some lip balm regularly and “buff” your lips with a soft toothbrush and a small amount of moisturiser. It is good practice to apply a lip base under your lipstick.   Lip base acts as a moisturiser and will also give extra “sticking power” to the lipstick.   Now apply a lip pencil in either a neutral shade or a close match to your lipstick.   Outline the lips and then fill in over the whole lip area.   This will stop lipstick “bleeding” into the area around your lips and give another layer of colour.   Finally apply a coat of lipstick, preferably with a lip brush.    There is a vast array of lipsticks available in many different colours and varying degrees of price.  It isn’t necessary to spend a lot of money but it is important to find the right colour for you.   Beware of artificial lighting in some shops as colours can be distorted.   It may be worth asking for a sample to take home so you can see the true colour before you buy. If you decide to treat yourself with lipstick, take your time, savour the shopping experience and find that perfect colour that you will wear many times.

While only Januuary and winter sales are still in the stores, a couple of catalogs starts dropping on my doormat. The developers are working on new lines this summer for a couple of months and it looks like the trend for bright, conflicting color combinations. Depending on your natural color you can get away with light colors, varying degrees of success. This does not mean that in this way is only available for the "right" colors is no small trick that makes the wearing collide bright colors for all. For men with "deep" or "delete" & E, this trend turned out for you. "Cave", which is fantastic in black and bright splashes of deep red, pink, orange or green, depending on color to add to search. As long as you choose between a cool or warm undertone that matches your skin tone and all the bright color is striking. "Delete" can mean a contrasting bright vibrant colors, pink with orange, for example. If your tone is cool to wear pink fuchsia orange in the face and legs and the opposite of a warm undertone. "Light" and "soft" women can be overcome by wearing bright colors head to toe. For "light" women, I would suggest sticking bright clothes and reinforce it with bright accessories, shoes and bag, for example. Even "soft" women are confined to their palette. A "soft" to make it look best in muted tones, but also shoes and handbags in turquoise or pink Blush is a part of the "Bright" trend. It's probably better to keep the light elements away from your face, so that the only bear colorful shoes are not enough for you, try jeans or a skirt in color, is beginning with a team that is softer and one or two lighter shades of the same color . "heats" for strong yellow, orange and lime green bear, can "Cools bear" fuchsia pink, light magenta and periwinkle. Fashion trends come and go every year, but that does not mean you have to keep exactly what you see in newspapers and shop windows. Only with a touch of color in the collection you already have in the closet, you can keep updated without spending a fortune or change your appearance completely.

Have you ever wondered why you sometimes want to wear one color and another day you choose something else? Have you ever wondered why we are different colors for the benefit of our friends, and we can see colors differently than the other? There was a lot of research on the effects of color in our lives. Color is all around us and unlike other species, we have the ability to see them. From childhood we all develop a popular color, can change our lives and time to be any number of reasons. Color, because people have different personalities and that is perhaps why we are attracted to different colors depending on our mood, or general mood. Schwarz shows authority and are often worn in formal situations or activities. There is also a color associated with death and grief. In some countries, women wear black for the rest of his life after the loss of a spouse or child. It is also known as "slim". Black you can trust, but rather hard on the skin of many people. Coal-or medium-sized Gray still wear formal but flattering. White is the color of purity and innocence, so it was a traditional color for brides during the Victorian period. White is for newborns and chosen angels appear in white, to reflect their innocence and goodness. White is a color that we all have at one time or another, but also for many adults, in white from head to toe is not always looking for the best. It is a great summer color and can be used to facilitate mixing with other colors to "the overall appearance. Brown is an earthy tones, and is associated with ease and comfort. Some people like brown "boring", but there are many different shades of brown to choose and if you are right brown, you will find a comfortable and useful part of your wardrobe. By wearing brown, you appear to be relaxed and accessible. Blue is the color of logic. It is a "safe" color and is often associated with law and order. Many uniforms are blue. The darker the color the stronger the effect by wearing bright colors, you still have the advantage of carrying a certain color, but without authority. Red is an energetic color. He can rely on to give the wearer what they feel in control. It is an exciting and color worn too many times very lively and outgoing person. There are many different shades of red, there is one for all. Green is a calming color and is often used in hospitals and dentist's waiting room for patients to reassure her. A study has shown that children in a green-yellow than in the classroom to concentrate and focus more. Green is the color of vegetation and often through creative and imaginative people. Find a shade that opens you best if you must. Yellow is a bright and sunny colors and makes us feel alive and updated. There is also a color that is difficult to bear, so to find the best shade is important to you. Wear yellow if you like the feeling of being alive and light up a dull day! Pink is often favorite color of little girls and some big girls too! Pink is associated with gentleness and sensitivity. This is a good color to wear when you want to connect with other people. Presidential election is now over, but Barack Obama has just begun. If you look at the pictures to celebrate Obama and his family, his victory, I can not help but feel that Obama is the new American image he needs. I can not stay up half the night to allow waiting for the results of recent presidential elections. I was sure that Barack Obama had won more than just my voice. Photographs of Barack with his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Natasha showed a family, united in every way. Not only it is clear that Barack has the full support of his family, was the co-coordinated clothing. Obama looks great in his dark suit and white shirt with red tie. The impact of Michelle in red and black, and children in black and one in red was overwhelming. Obama has "color" tactics. Certain color combinations can change another person's perception of you. In order to give itself as a leader, you must use color combinations that you control and management. A dark suit, light shirt and tie, contrasting to do. For someone as dark Barack Obama dark suit is one of his best appearance. Maybe an ivory shirt could have been better than white, he looked a little "yellow" on the TV screen, but these were due to studio lighting and fatigue! Red tie with white stripes called strong authority, and his color is perfect. This band symbolizes the red and white stripes of the American flag. The family, which mediates all dressed in co-coordinating colors message of unity and support. For men with a bright color, it is not easy to achieve this look. If you are blond or brown hair, light a charcoal or navy suit more flattering than black. Even a clean white shirt is too hard you try, ivory or cream. Remember to get in the shade of a red tie for the law. Blond or light brown hair, men need a light shade of red and blonde hair had a warm yellow-red to brown hair. In some business situations, you may want to be "leaders". If you are a participant in a brainstorming situation, for example, are relevant to fewer colors. You want to communicate color, "openness" and shows available, so that other members of the team, they feel their say. In this situation, try and choose less contrasting colors. Combine the color can be very powerful if used correctly. I am sure that Barack Obama continues to use his knowledge of this color combination will be to his advantage during his presidency. Take some tips from this great man, and then use for their own benefit in all areas of corporate governance, it can mean the difference between success and success in the field.
