This note to a fellow poet, had written on the authors' workshop from me: I had an idea that not every car parades. The man was in Novato, California (approximately 45,000) in place, and it was never in order, and even old cars. They are amazing! So many people lining the street for this popular event, it is like a city festival. Novato is in Marin County north of San Francisco about 30 miles or so. I think they are in the parade every year. This year I have to go to the car parade, and I was impressed and reminded us there are in America, something that "car culture." Thus the poem.
