Red Steel 2 devs explain why there is no Multiplayer
Red Steel 2 is coming for Wii and we couldn’t be more excited; I mean look at the above pic. Among the few features announced we couldn’t understand why the title would not incorporate multiplayer.
In a recent Nintendo Power article the devs explain why this is:
“…our focus is on creating a strong single player experience and taking full advantage of Wii Motion Plus. Adding multiplayer would detract from that focus. That’s another example of something we learned from the first Red Steel [Laughs].”
No multiplayer? I’m actually kinda happy to hear it. Single player games are starting to be a rare sight among this generation of gaming and we have to admit, the original Red Steel, although fun, had a lot of control issues. Hopefully Motion Plus will fix all that was wrong with the original, and more but till then stay tuned for more Red Steel info.
